He does art to communicate with people about the important events through his works and also to show the culture of his tribe. He is interested in protecting the environment. Rosalinda 40 a B'laan from Talas, Malugon, Sarrangani Province. She speaks B’laan, Tagalog, Ilongo and English. Her grandparents teach her how to make Mats since childhood and she also trained by her mother she sells baskets and mats for a living. She uses romblon wild grass and buri as material.

Edig in National High school Visual Art Guild. Her favorite artist is Van Goh. She wants to become a good artist someday. She uses pastel colors, acrylic and watercolor as her medium.

Roselaine C. Dacula
Roselaine is 31 years old Maguindanao from Kumalarang Zamboanga del Sur , Mindanao. She can speak Maguindanao, Tagalog, Maranao, Bisaya, English and Subanen. She was motivated her Sister and Mother to do weaving. There are three motif or design that they are usually do in mat weaving, they are: Seco Seco or 3 tribes , Mantapunay nor Zigzag, and the straight line using small Romblon leaves. She want's to attend more training to enhance her skills and later on to train the women in their community to earn for a living. She is now a member of the School of Living Tradition (SLT) in Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Norte.

Rosend Re-Il is 12 years old from Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte, she has been doing artwork since grade 7; she was motivated by her art teacher and her sister. She enrolled in Special Program for the Arts to enhance her talent. She uses acrylic, latex, charcoal, colored pencils as medium in creating art. She wanted to be a successful artist.

54 years old Rosita is from the community of Agta from Cagayan Province. She has been doing her weaving for about 34 years now and she was taught or influenced by her Mother. She uses Darumaka and Nito vines in her weaving. She wishes to expand her knowledge in making a different style.

Rosito Corpuz
Rosito is 42 years old a Tinguian of Nueva Era, Ilocos Norte. He is a farmer and a father of 4 kids. He has been weaver for about 15 years now and he was trained by his parents. He usually uses a special kind of bamboo strips from puser leaves and some pineapple leaves. Weaving baskets, hats, tray, and other traditional items help him to increase his source of income by selling the said products.

Rotty Boy J. Docenos
Rotty Boy is a 16 year old member of the Bukidnon tribe of Daraghuyan, Dalwangan, Malaybalay, Bukidnon. He began making sculpture in two years, however, this is his first time to join an exhibit although he says part of his learning is seeing the exhibits of the Kalinawa Art Foundation. he continues to practice to develop his skill and be a model to the youth.

Rowins D. Omarol
Rowins is 31 years old a Daraghuyan, a sub group of the Bukidnon tribe of Dalwangan, Bukidnon Province. He is also a tribal leader in the community; he can speak Binukid, Tagalog and Visayan. He has been doing artworks for about 5 years now. He was so fascinated with the beauty of the Village People and their community, and his parents influence and motivated him to start carving. He focuses on the details and intricacy of his subject, which you can notice from his carving that he do all his works with passion and details.

Ruben is an Igorot from Adams, Ilocos Norte. He is 45 years old Fine Arts Graduate at Mariano Marcos State University in Paoay Ilocos Norte. His Father is an Ilocano and Her Mother is an Igorot. Juan Luna is his favorite artist, and most of his works are landscape, because he loves nature very much. He is proud of being an Indigenous and he wants to preserve their culture and traditions.

Ruben is from Sicayab , Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, he is a Siquihudnon , he can speak Cebuano, English, Tagalog and a little Spanish. He is 62 years old and he loves to continue creating art, he doesn’t want to waste his time to some things that has no value, instead he keep him self busy in carving and assemble things like wood, shell and other materials then turn them into art. For him it’s an honor to be an artist, and he would like to share his skills to the young generation.
