Myra Fe Tagum
Myra Fe Tagum is a 14-year-old girl from Falel, Kiamba, Sarangani Province. She was taught by her father to paint and was encouraged by Ronald Tamfalan whom she looks up to, to go on painting. Flowers are her favorite subject. She also weaves baskets out of nito, a wild vine gathered from the forests. She wants improve her skills and become very good at her art so that she may make a good income to be able to help her family.

Handed down from generation to generation, the art of inabel weaving is a golden thread entwined in the Ilocano culture. Manually woven through a wooden loom, an abel fabric is made up of pure creativity, imagination, positivity, respect, discipline and keenness.

Nancy Ofong
Nancy is a 43 years old from the T’boli community of Tablo Lake Sebu, South Cotobato, she was growing up she watched her mother sew and weave traditional dresses, she also know how to weave Tinalak (a special type of cloth made from abaca fibers and is unique to the T’boli tribe of Southern Mindanao, Philippines.) She also attended some workshop on bead making. She is currently the president of the Hand Weavers Association in their community.

Narita Sihagan
Narita Sihagan belongs to Talaandig community in Bukidnon, Mindanao .She has been an artist for 15 years. Her grandparents taught her how to embroider .It has to be passed from one generation to generation as soon as the female of the tribe is matured enough to concentrate on the craft, she's taught beadwork. She uses beads, textile, sewing needle and thread. She wants to continue doing beadwork as long as she live and would like to have passed on the art to her children and grandchildren to preserve their tradition.

She will continue promoting and creating art works for self fulfillment and to keep the legacy.
